On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Demon Lord, Retry! R anime officially announced its release date for October 2024, along with a new key visual. The series is set to premiere in Japan on Saturday, October 5, 2024, based on Japan Standard Time (JST), with early streaming available on the ABEMA service starting Saturday, September 28.
Furthermore, the Demon Lord, Retry! R anime confirmed its global streaming as Crunchyroll will stream the series in select international regions. Additionally, details about the opening and ending theme songs were revealed, indicating this might be the last significant news for fans before the October launch.
Demon Lord, Retry! R anime streams early in September, officially premieres in October
The anime will begin streaming on ABEMA at 11 PM JST on September 28, followed by its official premiere on the Tokyo MX channel at 10:30 PM JST on October 5. A subsequent premiere will occur on RKB Mainichi Broadcasting at 2 AM JST on October 6. The series will make its debut on BS Fuji and BS NTV on October 8, and on TV Nagasaki on October 10.
The opening theme song, “Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshite mo,” translates to “Even if the World Ends Tomorrow,” and is performed by ASCA. The ending theme, performed by MIMiNARI, is titled “Clanssi:c feat. Yuho Kitazawa.” Kazuomi Koga directs the series at Gekko Studios, while Katsuhiko Takayama is responsible for the series scripts. Character design is by Minori Homura, with music composed by creator group SUPA LOVE.
Demon Lord, Retry! R is a sequel to the original series, featuring a predominantly new cast. The full cast includes:

The anime adaptation is based on the sequel manga by Kurone Kanzaki and Amaru Minotake, which began in March 2020 on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website and app. Originally, the story was launched as a web novel by Kanzaki on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in 2016 and continues to be updated.
