Prior to the airing of Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8, Ufotable, the animation studio behind the series, shared a preview image and synopsis for the show’s final episode on their official website. Titled ‘The Hashira Unite,’ the highly anticipated episode is scheduled to debut on June 30, 2024, at 11:15 PM JST.
The duration of the episode has been increased to 60 minutes, meaning that viewers can anticipate a runtime of approximately 45 minutes. The anime will premiere on Fuji TV and other Japanese networks, and will later be available on Crunchyroll and Netflix for international audiences.
In the previous episode of the anime, Himejima opened up about his past and accepted Tanjiro. Afterward, Tanjiro sought training from Giyu Tomioka at his residence. Meanwhile, Muzan Kibutsuji discovered the Ubuyashiki Mansion and confronted the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.

In the previous episode of the anime, Muzan Kibutsuji paid a visit to Kagaya Ubuyashiki at his mansion. It was clear that Muzan had no trouble entering the premises of the mansion. Although it is possible that Muzan may have eliminated any guards, the show has never depicted any demon slayers protecting the Ubuyashiki mansion. This suggests that Kagaya Ubuyashiki had full confidence in the safety of his family.
Despite Muzan’s entrance into the mansion’s premises, neither Kagaya nor Amane displayed any surprise at the Demon King’s arrival. This lack of reaction implies that Kagaya Ubuyashiki was anticipating Muzan’s coming. Therefore, he likely has a plan in place to defeat him, which may be revealed in the upcoming episode.

The title of Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Episode 8, “The Hashira Unite,”suggests that in the upcoming episode, all of the Hashira will come together to defend their leader Kagaya at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. As a result, viewers can anticipate a confrontation between the Hashira and the Demon King before their ultimate showdown.
It is important to note that prior to Muzan’s confrontation with Ubuyashiki, Tanjiro Kamado had been in the company of Giyu Tomioka. As a result, it is highly likely that he will accompany Giyu and the other Hashira to the Ubuyashiki Mansion. The anime’s preview also hints at this possibility.
