The popular anime Demon Slayer has returned, and with Season 4 well underway, it continues to attract a large audience on Netflix.
Currently airing weekly on Crunchyroll, fans have been thoroughly enjoying the Hashira Training Arc of Demon Slayer Season 4. However, Crunchyroll is not the sole source for following Tanjiro’s journey to defeat Muzan.
Although Netflix is also the home of the Demon Slayer Corps, new episodes are not added on a consistent schedule. Rather than being released weekly, entire seasons are streamed at some point after the arc has concluded.
Unfortunately, the buzz surrounding Season 4 seems to be prompting some individuals to rewatch or catch up, resulting in Demon Slayer now ranking 10th on Netflix’s chart. All three complete seasons are currently streaming, providing ample content for those interested in exploring the franchise.
There is a possibility of confusion due to Netflix’s listing of Demon Slayer. Although the service shows four seasons for the show, in reality there are only three. This is because Season 2 comprises two arcs, namely Mugen Train and Entertainment District, which Netflix has listed as separate seasons.
It’s a fact that may have surprised many fans and is currently leading people to believe that they can access the latest episodes on the platform. However, this is not the case. While Season 4 will eventually be available, the release date is still unknown due to uncertainty surrounding the number of episodes in the Hashira Training Arc.
The length of this arc will be similar to that of the manga, which is shorter compared to the previous ones. The main focus will be on Tanjiro’s journey to gather the Hashira and take on Muzan at the Infinity Castle. Although there is a possibility of the training for the Hashira merging into the Infinity Castle arc, it is unlikely due to the sudden increase in stakes and the high level of anticipation for the upcoming battle.
