As the fourth season of Demon Slayer progresses, Crunchyroll announced that viewers will be able to watch new episodes earlier, beginning with Episode 4.
Currently, in Demon Slayer, Tanjiro is undergoing the rigorous Hashira training to advance in the Demon Slayer Corps. The majority of the Hashira are participating, exerting intense pressure on our protagonist in preparation for his confrontation with Muzan.
Episodes for the fourth season of Demon Slayer will now be released weekly on Crunchyroll at 8:45am PST every Sunday, starting on June 2, 2024. This release schedule will continue for the rest of the season.

The reason for the change is not specified. However, the first three episodes of the season were initially released at 11:45am PST, resulting in viewers gaining access three hours earlier. This could be attributed to a shorter turnaround period or a decrease in viewership due to some timezones not being able to watch until the evening.
Regardless of the scenario, this is positive information for those eagerly awaiting the release of new episodes of Demon Slayer. Season 4 will cover the Hashira Training Arc from the manga, which serves as a brief introduction to the Infinity Castle Arc and the battle against Muzan.
This upcoming season is anticipated to have a shorter length compared to previous ones, consisting of approximately eight episodes, before diving into the highly-anticipated final arc. In order to enhance the story and add depth, new scenes such as a showdown between Tanjiro and Tengen have been incorporated.
Currently, there have been no updates on future plans for Demon Slayer beyond Season 4. Although there were speculations that the final two arcs may be turned into a trilogy of anime movies, there has been no official confirmation. However, fans can still look forward to watching Demon Slayer on Crunchyroll sooner than expected.
