Episode 6: Tanjiro’s Training with Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima

The sixth episode of the Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc continues from where the previous episode left off, with Tanjiro and Zenitsu joining Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, for their training. Himejima explains the tasks they must complete, which include enduring the powerful waterfall, carrying three logs, and pushing a boulder a distance of one cho (equivalent to approximately 109 meters).

Zenitsu collapses from the overwhelming tasks, and Himejima advises immersing him in the river. Tanjiro submerges Zenitsu in the water, causing him to abruptly awaken. Shivering, Zenitsu exits the river while Murata, another trainee, proposes warming up on the nearby hot rocks.

Tanjiro and Murata train together at the waterfall, where Murata suggests that they chant Nembutsu continuously to maintain focus and signal their consciousness. After taking a break on a nearby rock, Murata commends Tanjiro and Inosuke for their determination and perseverance on their initial day of training.

Murata informs Tanjiro that he has spent 10 days at the training site and has successfully completed the waterfall training. He is now shifting his focus to the logs. Tanjiro praises Murata for his impressive progress.
