Demon Slayer Unveils Infinity Castle Event, But Faces One Major Challenge

Demon Slayer has prepared an exciting introduction to the upcoming Infinity Castle movie trilogy, but not every fan will have the chance to attend.

The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy is set to be one of the most significant events on the pop culture calendar. Ufotable aims to conclude the franchise with a spectacular finish, bringing Tanjiro’s battle against Muzan to the cinema in three feature films.

With the franchise transitioning away from the anime series, it’s unlikely we will see a compilation film ahead of Infinity Castle. However, fans shouldn’t worry; there are previews planned. An exhibition is on the horizon instead of a compilation film.

The Hashira and To The Infinity Castle exhibition is on its way, set to take place this November. According to the official site, the event will commence on November 2, 2024, and will run until March 2, 2025.

The venue for this exhibition is the Creative Museum Tokyo. Currently, it appears to be exclusive to Tokyo, but if it branches out, major cities like New York and London could be the next locations.

The exhibition’s conclusion in early 2025 indicates a hopeful timeline for the release of the first new movie. The production schedule is expected to be just as tight as in previous installments, meaning we might see Infinity Castle Part 1 hitting theaters in the summer or autumn of 2025.

However, let’s stay focused on the present. For now, the exhibition is where fans can witness the remaining characters getting their well-deserved time in the spotlight. It’s surreal to think that Demon Slayer has reached its final arc already, but the concise and impactful storytelling has always been a hallmark of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga.

If you want to immerse yourself in all things Demon Slayer, planning a trip to Tokyo should be your next move.
