Demon Slayer Anime’s Final Arc to Be Released as Three Movies

Based on the leaked information from a visitor giveaway on the Jump Victory Carnival website, it has been revealed that Ufotable’s Demon Slayer anime will be adapting the ‘Infinity Castle Arc’ as a trilogy of movies, serving as the final arc of the series.

Regrettably, it appears that the information has been removed from the website, leaving fans to speculate about the rumor. Nevertheless, there is still a glimmer of hope as an identical image is reportedly featured in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, set to be published next Monday.

As a result, viewers can anticipate that the finale of the Demon Slayer anime will be announced after its Sunday broadcast. Although episode 7 of the ongoing Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc is not the final episode, the announcement may be postponed until the following Sunday, which falls on June 30, 2024.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the Infinity Castle Arc is not the concluding arc of the series for those familiar with the manga. Therefore, it can be concluded that the anime’s finale will not consist solely of a trilogy of the Infinity Castle Arc. This information is supported by Japanese listings, which define the ‘Infinity Castle Arc’ as encompassing everything until the conclusion of the series.

This implies that the final installment of the anime would encompass both the Infinity Castle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc as its conclusion.

Despite the rumors circulating online about the supposed finale of the Demon Slayer anime, it is important for fans to keep in mind that no official announcement has been made. These speculations are based on deleted information and until the animation studio Ufotable confirms anything, it is best for fans to remain patient.

Fans will have to wait until Sunday, June 30, 2024, when the ongoing anime Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc concludes, to find out the series’ plans for the future.
