Deontay Wilder’s Request for Fourth Fight Against Tyson Fury to Seek Revenge

Deontay Wilder has recently urged for a fourth match against Tyson Fury, stating that he wants to exact revenge and make Fury “pay”for their previous fight, which took place years ago.

In 2021, both Fury and Wilder were knocked down while fighting in the ring. However, it was ‘The Gypsy King’ who emerged as the winner when he landed a powerful right hook on the ‘Bronze Bomber’ in the 11th round.

Despite a split decision draw and a TKO victory for Fury in their initial and second bouts, the trilogy concluded as one of the most remarkable in the history of the sport.

Wilder has expressed his desire for another opportunity to face Fury, emphasizing that their rivalry is far from over.

During an interview with Sportsbook Review, he expressed his strong desire to make Tyson Fury pay. He also hinted at the possibility of a fourth fight between them, stating that he believes the creators may make it happen. He does not believe their chapter is over yet.

The Saudis possess both the resources and influence to make it a reality. I am desperate to regain it.

Fury has made it clear that he will not be facing Wilder in another contest, shutting the door on any future fights between them. This decision was solidified after their third fight in Las Vegas, which took place almost three years ago.

Following the fight, Fury declared, “Wilder has been a great dance partner for this trilogy, but it takes two to make a great trilogy. Unfortunately, there is no rematch clause and it seems that our partnership with Wilder has come to an end. There will be no more fights between us.”

As he shifts his focus towards Fury’s upcoming match against Usyk, Wilder maintains that the fight has already been surrounded by controversy and could potentially go either way.

“I’m unsure at the moment,”he confessed. “While Usyk may be smaller, he’s known for his agility and maneuverability.”

Despite facing a taller opponent in Fury, Usyk has proven to possess both strength and quickness. It would be unwise to underestimate Usyk solely based on Fury’s height advantage. My hope is that both fighters perform well and exit the ring unscathed. I have no preference for either fighter to emerge victorious.
