Destiny 2 finally adds new method for hunting specific exotic class item perks

The developers of Destiny 2 have announced a new method for Guardians to pursue specific perks on their exotic class items, allowing them to strive for the ideal rolls.

Destiny 2, the looter shooter developed by Bungie, revolves around acquiring new weapons and gear to enhance your Guardian’s abilities to their fullest potential. Whether this involves pairing an exotic weapon with a matching armor piece, seeking out optimal stats, or devising a new build, the ultimate goal is to increase your strength and effectiveness in the game.

Another method of significantly increasing a Guardian’s strength was through the use of exotic class items. These items are a more recent type of gear that has two exotic perks randomly assigned, providing the opportunity to mix and match for an ideal setup.

Despite the complete randomness of these rolls, it was necessary to spend a considerable amount of time farming in order to obtain the rewards. However, Bungie has recently announced that they will introduce an attunement system in Episode II, which should make the hunt much less arduous.

Bungie has hinted at an upcoming feature by sharing a screenshot on X. The image reveals a menu currently in development, which will enable players to attune to specific perks on their class items. This will enhance the likelihood of those perks appearing during gameplay.

The developers have previous experience implementing a similar attunement system, as seen in the game Into The Light, which allowed players to efficiently farm the Brave Arsenal weapons.

From the screenshot, it is evident that this game is still in the early stages of development. Therefore, while it may not be an exact replica in the final version, it should still operate in a similar manner.

This is excellent news for those who are still in the process of theory crafting or waiting to discover a build that suits them. This improvement is expected to greatly enhance the overall experience for exotic hunters worldwide.
