As the release of Destiny 2 Echoes Act 3 draws near, Bungie has unveiled the latest batch of seasonal weapons for players to acquire. Among them is a formidable Grenade Launcher that provides continuous healing while in use.
Cure is undoubtedly one of the strongest buffs in Destiny, as it not only heals but also removes any debuffs you may have. This makes it an essential tool for surviving the game’s toughest challenges. Weapons, abilities, or Exotics that offer Cure are highly coveted and are often considered top contenders in the meta. The reissued weapon being released next week is sure to follow suit.
Starting August 27, players will be able to obtain Martyr’s Retribution, a powerful Solar Grenade Launcher from seasonal activities. This weapon is guaranteed to be one of the top-performing Wave Frames in the game, thanks to its impressive stacked perk pool. It has the necessary tools to compete with formidable weapons like Forbearance and Undercurrent.
Heal Clip is the standout perk among these benefits, providing both you and your teammates with the Cure ability each time you reload after scoring a finishing blow. While Heal Clip is effective on a variety of weapons, it truly shines when paired with a Grenade Launcher. This is due to the Grenade Launcher’s automatic reloading after each shot, ensuring that Heal Clip is consistently activated without any additional effort on your part.
Martyr’s Retribution God Roll
Once Echoes Act 3 is released, be sure to farm for the PvE god roll on Martyr’s Retribution.

The reprised version of Martyr’s Retribution can be leveled up to unlock enhanced perks.
The combination of Volatile Launch and High-Velocity Rounds effectively enhances this weapon, increasing its Blast Radius, Velocity, and Reload Time. These are the three most significant stats for a Wave Frame GL, especially after the changes in The Final Shape which now allow Blast Radius to impact the size of each wave.
The Heal Clip perk is an excellent choice for Perk 1 as it offers a continuous Cure effect, greatly increasing longevity. This weapon is the only Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2 that can have this perk, making it stand out with its unique utility that even top-tier meta alternatives cannot match.
The Incandescent perk is a highly beneficial choice for almost any Solar weapon, and Martyr’s Retribution is certainly not an exception. This ability enhances Wave Frames by causing each wave to unleash a powerful explosion, making it ideal for effortlessly clearing out crowds of enemies.
To obtain Martyr’s Retribution, you can either complete Echoes Battlegrounds or Breach Executable in Echoes Act 3 as a reward. Alternatively, you can focus it in the HELM for 4 Echo Engrams and 3,000 Glimmer each, but this will only be possible once you have made sufficient progress in the story.
