Destiny 2: Guardians Encouraged to Go Have Fun with Insane Exotic Bug

Thanks to an unintended bug that caused a major disruption in a week-long sword event, Bungie has given Guardians the opportunity to freely use One Thousand Voices with unlimited ammo, encouraging them to have a great time.

Destiny 2 is currently hosting a week-long event dedicated to one of the game’s weapon archetypes, allowing players to regenerate ammo. This event permits Guardians to freely utilize Swords in activities such as strikes, Gambit, and the Crucible without any consequences for excessive swinging.

Despite the unintentional bug that has been introduced to the event, the Exotic fusion rifle One Thousand Voices now has the ability to regenerate ammo in the same manner as swords. While this may not seem like a significant issue, the One Thousand Voices is capable of firing a powerful explosive laser beam that annihilates anything in its trajectory.

Despite Bungie’s apparent lack of concern, the developers have actually encouraged players to take advantage of the bug, urging Guardians to enjoy their enhanced levels of strength.

One Guardian demonstrated the immense power of having unlimited One Thousand Voices ammo by quickly clearing out enemies in a Gambit match. Their ability to eliminate the Primeval in mere seconds made it impossible for the opposing team to keep pace.

In addition to being fully satisfied with players running wild, the developers are content with putting a cap on Gambit if necessary.

This is not the first instance in which a bug has benefited Bungie. Other crafting problems and exploits have also been permitted and were actually embraced by a large portion of the player community.

The event will continue until the weekly reset on September 10, allowing players a sufficient amount of time to engage with it at their leisure.

Despite this, the Exotic will eventually revert back to its usual, well-balanced condition. Therefore, take advantage of its capabilities while you still have the chance.
