Destiny 2 Players Beg Blueberries Not to Skip Key Episode: Echoes Feature

Players are expressing their frustration as Destiny 2’s new Breach Executable activity repeats a key mistake seen in previous seasons.

In Episode: Echoes, the Breach Executable was introduced as a typical objective-based challenge that Guardians will recognize. However, what sets it apart is that players can gather Radiolite from various locations on the map between each combat encounter.

The collection of Radiolite at the end of a run can earn additional rewards, but it is not essential for completing the task. However, if any member of the Fireteam enters the boss arena and brings their teammates with them before collecting any Radiolite, the opportunity to collect it is lost.

Despite Bungie receiving criticism for not clearly indicating the optional venture, this has been a major complaint among players. With no apparent changes being made, many are turning to Reddit to plead with their fellow Guardians to not rush ahead and miss out on the opportunity for valuable loot.

One post reads, “Hey guys, can I please gather some Radiolite?”The author expresses frustration, stating that they have completed at least 20 runs and every time they destroy Planetary Pistons, they immediately get pulled into the Joining Allies phase. They then request to collect the Radiolite so that everyone can receive more rewards.

The responses were unanimous. One person stated, “It would be beneficial if the game provided clear instructions on what to do,”while another placed the blame on Bungie.

One straightforward comment expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of criticism directed towards Bungie for this issue, instead placing the blame on the community. The commenter pointed out that this is not the first time Bungie has included a missable objective in a seasonal activity, which can be easily missed if playing with teammates who prioritize speedrunning.

The dilemma with Breach Executable is similar to Season of Plunder’s Ruffians, where optional targets that provided Triumph progress and buffs could be easily skipped by rushed Guardians.

Despite Bungie’s lack of comment on the issue, a solo-only version of Breach Executable is available for those who are limited to playing with random players. It should be noted, however, that this option is only valid for Expert difficulty.
