The fact that the percentages of perk combinations are so similar is uncommon, indicating that there is no clear consensus on the most effective choice. Nevertheless, this also suggests that there are numerous successful roles for the SMG, making it unlikely to receive a unfavorable combination.
Perhaps a definitive victor will arise in the future, but for now, whatever you believe is the most suitable roll for your playstyle is likely the best choice.
