Destiny 2 Players Stunned by Major Reputation Bug for Warlock Mains

Despite the generally positive reception of The Final Shape release for Destiny 2, there are still some unresolved issues that require attention. A major bug is causing Warlock players to be left behind in Ritual Playlist activities, and this needs to be addressed.

According to Cheese Forever, a YouTube channel that covers Destiny 2, Warlocks are receiving significantly less reputation for farming GM Nightfalls compared to Hunters and Titans. Although this was not tested in lower-difficulty versions of Vanguard activities, the same issue also occurs in those activities.

Despite the issue being present since The Final Shape’s launch on June 4, Bungie has yet to acknowledge it. This is exacerbated by the fact that players are currently receiving greater rewards for farming GM Nightfall Strikes this week.

As a result, numerous members of the community remain unaware of this issue, causing confusion as to why they are falling behind their peers who play different classes. A popular post on Reddit brought attention to this concern and served as a public service announcement, with many expressing surprise that it has not been resolved yet.

Several members of the community also recounted their personal experiences of being affected by the bug. One individual shared, “My significant other plays as a Hunter, while I prefer the Warlock class. We usually play together, but due to this bug, my partner has had to reset multiple times. I was genuinely puzzled as to why I was falling behind in our progress.”

One of the Guardians chimed in, exclaiming, “I had a feeling something was off! My friend was earning 1k Gambit XP last week while the rest of us were only getting around 500 XP per match. I just knew it!”

Some believe that this issue may have been ongoing for an even longer period of time, as suggested by one comment that stated, “What bothers me the most about this problem is that a brief Google search brings up a post from about 2 months ago in this Sub with a lot of downvotes, where someone claims to have found evidence of the same issue, yet it went unnoticed by most people.”

Despite the improvements in communication since the release of Into the Light, Bungie’s lack of response on this significant matter is out of the ordinary. This issue affects an entire subclass and must be promptly addressed to ensure balance is restored before the release of Episode 2.
