The Stasis Subclass in Destiny 2 includes Aspects and Fragments that enable players to crowd control enemies by slowing and freezing them. In order to unlock all Fragments, including the two recently added ones in The Final Shape DLC, follow these steps.
The Stasis Subclass has remained unchanged since its introduction in the Beyond Light Expansion for Destiny 2. However, The Final Shape has added two new Fragments to this Subclass.
These Fragments are accessible to all players who have finished the Beyond Light campaign in Destiny 2, but they must be obtained before they can be utilized.
Unlocking Whisper of Chill in Destiny 2
In order to obtain the Whisper of Chill, you must acquire it from the Exo Stranger for 10,000 Glimmer within Destiny 2. The Exo Stranger can be located near the Beyond Landing Zone on Europa.
Whisper of Chill – When using a Stasis weapon, there is a chance that kills will generate a Stasis shard.
Stasis shards are collectibles that provide energy to your abilities, effectively decreasing their cooldown. By equipping the Whisper of Chill, you are encouraged to utilize Stasis weapons such as the Riptide or Krait in your Primary slot, as they will generate Stasis shards upon defeating enemies.
You will find the Exo Stranger standing right beside the Beyond Landing Zone.
How to Unlock Whisper of Reversal in Destiny 2
Similar to obtaining the Whisper of Chill, acquiring the Whisper of Reversal in Destiny 2 requires you to buy it from the Exo Stranger by trading in 10,000 Glimmer.
Frost Armor Effect – When Frost Armor is active, any melee damage inflicted on your target will cause them to slow down.
Whisper of Reversal, on the other hand, is a utility Fragment that allows for even more efficient crowd control of enemies. Bungie has also recently added the Frost Armor buff in The Final Shape, which provides a substantial damage reduction while active, similar to the effect of the Strand Woven Mail buff.
Having Frost Armor active and dealing melee damage will always result in slowing down your target. This is particularly advantageous for builds such as the Behemoth Titan or the Revenant Hunter, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of these builds in Destiny 2.
