Destiny 2 The Final Shape to make history with new exotics tied to a vendor

Destiny 2’s upcoming update, The Final Shape, will mark a significant moment for the franchise as it introduces a new way to acquire exotics from Rahool at the tower.

Destiny 2’s upcoming feature, The Final Shape, aims to greatly enhance the experience for exotic hunters. As stated in a recent TWID, Rahool will now have a reputation track that, upon completion, allows players to access Tier 3 exotic focusing.

Upon unlocking this higher level of focus, you will have the capability to acquire any Exotic armor piece for any character within your account, as long as you possess an Exotic engram and an exotic cipher.

The best part is that there is no weekly restriction on this level of focus. This means that as long as you have enough resources, you can obtain as many new exotics as you desire.

Rahool will be the premier exotic vendor with The Final Shape.

Due to this alteration, the previous approach to Lost Sectors has been revised as well. Instead of providing exotic gear, they will now yield Exotic engrams, allowing you to either decrypt them or exchange them with Rahool for a targeted exotic.

Bungie has announced that Neomuna’s Vex Strike Force encounter will continue to provide Exotic armor drops, but there are no plans to incorporate additional armor into the drop tables beyond Season of the Wish.

This marks a significant improvement in quality of life compared to the previous methods of obtaining exotic armor, and players will undoubtedly appreciate this addition as they strive to acquire the new gear in the upcoming expansion.

This also eliminates a significant element of randomness in obtaining new exotics, potentially diminishing the thrill of obtaining new gear. Nevertheless, it ensures that experienced guardians will have access to a considerable number of the new exotics introduced in The Final Shape.
