Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host World First Race Start Date

The dungeon race for Vesper’s Host is set to commence on October 11, 2024.

Bungie has yet to specify the exact launch time for this exciting activity, but an announcement is expected soon. Similar to previous races, the dungeon will open for everyone simultaneously, regardless of time zones.

Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host World First Race Content

In contrast to previous world’s first races, Vesper’s Host will be a dungeon, accommodating a fireteam of up to three players as opposed to the traditional six in raids.

This setup is likely to lead to the formation of new teams that differ from the ones fans are accustomed to.

Notably, Vesper’s Host will be the first dungeon to launch with a contest mode.

The contest mode will be active for the initial 48 hours, limiting fireteams to a specific light level below the recommended cap. This restriction will be lifted once three teams successfully complete the dungeon.

To count as a completion, racers must loot the final chest of the dungeon. Additionally, at least one member of the fireteam must have completed and received loot from every encounter, and it is essential that it is the first dungeon completion for all fireteam members for the entry to be valid.
