Destiny 2’s Shiny Brave Weapons to Be More Accessible Before The Final Shape

Bungie is satisfying the desires of Destiny 2 Guardians by increasing the drop rate of the rare limited-time Shiny editions of the Brave Arsenal that were released with Into The Light.

The developers of Destiny 2 have announced that they will be doubling the drop rate for the Onslaught game mode until the release of The Final Shape, giving players an extra incentive to continue farming.

These exclusive and gleaming cosmetics have a stunning golden translucent coating, making them some of the most visually appealing weapons available. Additionally, they are highly coveted and limited edition, so once The Final Shape is released, they will no longer be obtainable through farming.

Therefore, the developers have decided to double the drop rate for players to increase their chances of farming for these highly sought-after weapons. This will be in effect until June 3, 2024, giving players a limited time to obtain their perfect Forbearance, Recluse, or Falling Guillotine.

On May 28, 2024 at 10 AM PT, players will begin to experience increased drop rates for all shiny weapon variants from the Brave Arsenal.

Despite initially causing some backlash from the player base due to their slow release, Bungie has since made adjustments allowing players to obtain the reprised weapons earlier than expected.

The Brave weapons have also been updated with reissued perks, refreshing their power level and bringing them in line with other top meta weapon options such as Osteo Striga and Sunshot.

With the improved drop rate and the developers’ adjustments to weapon and token drops, players now have ample opportunities to acquire any of the visually appealing guns they desire before the launch of the new expansion.
