Diablo 4’s Artificer’s Pit

The Artificer’s Pit is organized into levels, and you can progress to higher levels by successfully completing the highest level you currently have access to. To clear a level, you must defeat as many enemies as you can within a ten-minute time limit.
If you can achieve a specific threshold within ten minutes, a portal will appear to a boss room. If you successfully defeat the boss before the timer runs out, you will complete that level and gain access to the next.
The longer you take to defeat the boss, the more rewards you will receive. If you finish with at least six minutes remaining on the clock, you will also be able to unlock two additional levels of the Pit.

Failing at any point during your run in the Artificer’s Pit in Diablo 4 will result in immediate death. You will be transported back to the entrance and will need to restart from the beginning.
How to Access the Artficer’s Pit in Diablo 4
To gain access to the Artificer’s Pit in Diablo 4, you must obtain three Rune Shards and utilize them at the Artificer’s Obelisk located in Cerrigar. The initial Rune Shard can be obtained by successfully completing your first Tier-46 Nightmare Dungeon in World Tier 4.
From that moment on, players will have a possibility of obtaining Rune Shards from World Bosses, Whisper Caches, and Legion Events. To enter the Pit, each player must have three Rune Shards, but groups of up to four players can enter using only one player’s Rune Shards.
The individual who spends the greatest number of Rune Shards to enter the Artificer’s Pit will be rewarded more than their peers. Remember this when teaming up.

Rewards for Artificer’s Pit
The main purpose of utilizing the Artificer’s Pit in Diablo 4 is to obtain materials for the newly introduced Masterworking crafting system. This enables players to significantly enhance the strength of their gear’s Affixes.

- Levels 1-39: 5%
- Levels 40 – 99: 10%
