Season 3 of Diablo 4 is imminent, but some of the improvements players requested in Season 2 will not make it into the game only from Season 4, or even Season 5, depending on the developers.
Diablo 4 Season 2 is coming to an end and has been a huge success for the Blizzard team. After a difficult first season, players’ confidence has been largely restored thanks to excellent new features included in the second.
The newly revealed Season of Assemblies will be the third content update for the game and Diablo 4 players are waiting to see what direction the game takes this time around- this. During the wildly popular Season 2, Blizzard received and responded to numerous player feedback requesting that the season’s new features and mechanics be implemented.
While some major changes resulting from this feedback will be added in Diablo 4 Season 3, others may have to wait longer. In a recent interview with GamesRadar+, game designer Nathan Scott revealed that we might not see many of the improvements players have requested for another season, or two.
“Season 3 is ready, so we can’t really take Season 2 for Season 3. But we can integrate it into what we’re developing now and what we’ll develop in the future,” Scott explained to the GamesRadar+ team.
“We’re just now looking at the things that we’ve done well and want to continue to do, and we’re looking at the things that we haven’t done well and don’t want to continue to do,” he continued. The game’s lead producer, Timothy Ismay, has clarified that some player feedback has been incorporated into Diablo 4’s third season.
“We did make a number of changes in Season 3 based on what we saw in Season 2, but there are limits. At some point you have to say, ‘We need to start integrating this into Season 4 now. Or, if it’s really important, maybe even in Season 5,” Ismay elaborated.
We know that Diablo 4 Season 3 made changes to the frequency of Helltides based on the positive reception of Season 2’s Blood Harvest events. The game is also adding WASD controls to the PC version, a highly requested feature.
I see they took into account my request to add robot scorpions to Diablo 4. “Even if you don’t see it this season, that doesn’t mean we’re not working on it. We’re still looking at the feedback we got in Season 2 and there are some big and exciting things that are going to show up in Season 4 that are directly influenced by what people sent in Season 2,” he said. revealed Ismay.
Despite a few errors, the Diablo 4 development team has constantly evolved the game in a positive way based on player feedback. Based on this information from the development team, this seems destined to continue.
