Diablo 4 Paragon Board: Level Cap Increase for Vessel of Hatred

A level cap increase will be released alongside the upcoming expansion, as seen in a screenshot from Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred.

In 2014, the release of the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 increased the maximum level cap from 60 to 70. Additionally, all five original classes received new abilities, adding to the excitement of the climb for players.

With the impending release of Diablo 4’s first expansion, many in the community are curious if it will also include a raise in the level cap.

Despite Blizzard staying silent on the issue, a quick moment in a Vessel of Hatred skill tree video could potentially provide some clues. Certain content creators, such as Rob2628, were recently given the opportunity to visit Blizzard headquarters and test out the new expansion content.

Wowhead has noticed that the breakdown of Spiritborn skills by the YouTuber includes a brief look at the Paragon tab in the Vessel of Hatred menu.

Currently, players in Diablo 4 unlock the endgame Paragon Board at Level 50. However, the video implies that with the upcoming expansion in October, the board will unlock at Level 60 instead.

The Paragon tab can be found in the video at the 4:32 mark, as seen in the link above.

This adjustment to the Paragon requirements suggests that Diablo 4 may potentially see a rise in the level cap for Vessel of Hatred.

It should be highlighted that Blizzard has not yet confirmed their plans on this matter.

Despite this, it is logical to increase the level cap since each class will gain access to new abilities and extra Paragon Boards for Vessel of Hatred, as stated on Diablo 4’s official website. This modification could potentially require revisions to the maximum level cap.

Regardless, players can expect to receive solid answers in the near future. The first expansion for Diablo 4 is set to be released on Tuesday, October 8, coinciding with the launch of Season 6 on all platforms.
