Developers at Blizzard seem to understand the danger and recently announced that Diablo 4 Season 4 would have a Public Test Realm (RTP) before release. The stated purpose of the RTP is to allow players to provide feedback on planned major overhauls so that they can make appropriate changes before the season launches.
