Surviving in Diablo 4’s endgame can prove to be a challenge for many Sorcerer players, prompting them to suggest that developers provide more buffs for the class in Season 4.
Despite the current season in Diablo 4, sorcerers have consistently been at a disadvantage in terms of power scaling in the game. This is largely due to their low health pool and the removal of the Enchantment Slot by developers.
Reddit user ‘Maze-Elwin’ shared their thoughts on the platform, stating that the return of the 3rd Enchantment Slot is crucial for Sorcerers. They explained that Enchantments provide valuable passive boosts to skills and are essential for any successful Sorcerer build.
Sorcerers in Diablo 4 have quite limited options in terms of Enchantments.
Having additional Enchantment Slots would greatly enhance the Attack Power of Sorcerers and allow for the utilization of defensive passives to compensate for their low HP. “We should have 4! Our class is already weak. But even with 4, we would still be the weakest,”commented a player.
Despite Blizzard’s successful revamping of several mechanics in Season 4, Sorcerers require further adjustments in order to be on par with dominant classes such as Barbarians and Necromancers.
“One player expressed their disbelief that having eight enchantments would not compare to the enjoyment of having four weapons. They described the current state of the class as very unfortunate and suggested that Blizzard should significantly improve spells and passives for Sorcerers.”
Despite numerous requests from players for Sorcerers to be buffed, the way in which the developers will address this issue in the future is yet to be determined. In the meantime, if you are looking for alternative classes in Diablo 4, there are a variety of powerful Barbarian, Druid, and Necromancer builds that align with the current meta.
