Diablo 4 Players Report Continued Bugs with Andariel’s Visage Damage Despite 1.4.3 Fixes

Despite the expectation that patch 1.4.3 would solve the issues with Andariel’s Visage for Diablo 4 players, many are still dissatisfied as the promised fixes were not implemented.

As one of the rarest items in Diablo 4, Andariel’s Visage holds a special status as an Uber Unique. Despite drop rate buffs in Season 4, it continues to be highly sought after. However, players have also been critical of its inconsistent damage and the Poison Nova bug that can affect players in close proximity.

As anticipated, the notes for Patch 1.4.3 included a section specifically addressing these issues. It was stated that Andariel’s Visage would receive a 50% damage buff, and poison pools would now appear around enemies rather than players.

Despite being reported by Reddit user ‘zopikl0n’ in the Diablo 4 subreddit, these results were not implemented in the game. According to the user, despite patch 1.4.3, Andariel Visage is still “bugged” as the poison pool animation continues to occur around players instead of enemies.

Having poison pools form around players could pose a significant problem for many, as the enemies would not be damaged as intended. Another player expressed disbelief at the lack of a fix, asking, “Do they even bother to test their patches?”

Getting items like Andariel’s Visage is much easier in Season 4.

After reading the new patch notes, numerous players were eager to test out Andariel’s Visage in Diablo 4. However, upon witnessing the consequences, they were forced to abandon the idea. One player expressed disappointment, stating, “I was looking forward to trying the Andy build.”Meanwhile, others remarked on how absurd the bug was.

Despite the bug being the primary issue, Andariel’s Visage is also facing criticism for its 50% damage boost to Poison Nova not functioning properly. A player has pointed out that the recent changes only affected the tooltip and appearance, with the damage and effect remaining unchanged from before the patch.

“It’s unbelievable how this keeps happening every time they update this cursed game. I had my Andy Rogue all set to play, and now this,”expressed another disheartened Diablo 4 player.

Due to the overwhelming amount of complaints received about Andariel’s Visage, it is highly probable that Blizzard will address this issue with a hotfix in Diablo 4. In the meantime, you can experiment with other Uber Unique items in your arsenal and test the effects of patch 1.4.3 on your go-to build for yourself.
