One member of the Diablo 4 subreddit speculated about Blizzard’s intentions and predicted that Season 5 would be “deliberately overpowered/crazy.”
The player’s initial concern in the post was the power creep in Diablo 4. They expressed unease about the increasing intensity of each Season and the recent buffs to Uniques by Blizzard, suggesting that players should brace themselves for a chaotic Season of the Infernal Hordes.
The player was convinced that the developers intentionally strengthened items and implemented amazing features in Season 6 in order to decrease stats and limit player levels, ultimately aiming to stabilize the game.
Despite facing challenges from previous seasons, Diablo 4 Season 4 proved to be a “remarkable triumph”that revitalized the game. Players were delighted with the speed at which they could acquire top-tier loot and defeat countless enemies.
With the return of Uniques to their game-breaking state in Season 5, as well as the addition of 50 new Uniques and Legendary items, Diablo 4’s shortest Season may potentially surpass all others in terms of quality.
