Although it has only been a few weeks since the start of Season 5 in Diablo 4 on August 6, a number of dedicated players have managed to complete the seasonal reward progression. Interestingly, they have found that the progression does not come to an end with the final tier.
Mother’s Gifts is the rewards system for the Season of the Infernal Hordes, consisting of a total of 20 tiers of loot. Similar to previous Seasons, these tiers of rewards were also present, with the final tier being the ultimate goal.
Upon reaching the final tier of 20, a Reddit user revealed that repeatable loot caches can be obtained. The EXP bar displayed at the top indicates that players have the opportunity to acquire additional Mother’s Gifts, resulting in the ability to obtain multiple Triune War Chests.

During the next two months leading up to the release of Season 6, players will have the opportunity to repeatedly gather “powerful items and rare crafting materials”from the Ancestral Legendary caches.
The alteration was met with great enthusiasm by fans in the replies to the Reddit post, with one observant user pointing out that it was a “feature borrowed from WoW”by Blizzard.
The Season of the Infernal Hordes has proven to be a success among players, thanks to updates like this one. Fans have particularly appreciated features such as the ability to retain Tempering Manuals and the inclusion of the Infernal Hordes mode.
It was speculated by a few replies that the alteration to Mother’s Gifts could possibly be attributed to the shorter season. One player expressed their opinion, stating that “progression should still be moderately accelerated in my view.”
Apart from these enthusiastic remarks, the remaining responses expressed surprise at the original poster’s speedy completion of the seasonal rewards. One follower playfully suggested, “Maybe you should take a break and get some fresh air.”
