Diablo 4: Players Want Changes to Infernal Compasses Taking Over Inventories

Despite the rising popularity of Infernal Hordes in Season 5, there are some Diablo 4 players who express a desire for a more compact inventory due to the amount of space taken up by Infernal Compasses. As a result, a simple solution has been proposed.

Infernal Compasses are essential items for accessing the Realm of Hatred and facing the Infernal Hordes. Since they cannot be stacked, each Compass will occupy a single slot, making it more challenging to manage one’s inventory.

In response to the issue, players of Diablo 4 proposed that Infernal Compasses should be made stackable. They expressed their concerns on Reddit, urging Blizzard to implement this change. User ‘coojw’ emphasized the urgency of the matter by stating, “Blizzard – PLEASE stack compasses. They are taking over our potion tab.”They further revealed that they had been forced to delete more than 50 Compasses due to this problem.

Infernal Compasses come in different tiers, representing the level of difficulty for the activity you are about to undertake. This is why it has been recommended that Compasses of the same tier be able to stack, thereby conserving space in one’s inventory.

While a few criticized it as a “poor design,”others recommended that the developers create a separate tab for seasonal items and boss ingredients.

Infernal Compasses are reclaimable and players can obtain Sigil Powder by doing so. This could serve as a temporary solution for players struggling with inventory management, but having an extra tab or stackable Compasses would also be beneficial.

Blizzard implemented numerous improvements to the inventory and stash in Season 4, but it was unexpected to see the problem resurface: “They seem to repeat the same mistake every time they add a new consumable.”

The developers have not yet addressed the concern regarding the stacking of Infernal Compasses, nor have they announced any future plans for making them stackable. However, it is important to note that they are constantly aware of the community’s feedback and it is highly probable that more quality-of-life improvements will be implemented in the upcoming updates.
