Diablo 4 Season 5 Glitch: Faster Leveling to 100 than Ever Before

Diablo 4’s Season 5, which was released on August 6, brought a surprising turn of events with a glitch that quickly boosted players to level 100.

Despite the anticipation for an expedited path to max level through Infernal Hordes, the new season was plagued by numerous bugs.

Despite being appreciated by the community, the bug that allowed players to keep their Tempering Manuals from Season 4 raised concerns regarding potential issues with Diablo’s fifth season.

A player on Reddit recently shared a perplexing encounter where their character unexpectedly jumped from level 80 to 100. They questioned if anyone else had also experienced this mysterious increase.

Instead of hitting 80, my character jumped to 100. Did anyone else get the “magic”bump? byu/Lostehmost indiablo4

The player recounted the series of actions that took place, which involved upgrading a compass, completing six waves, and battling the Felled Priests. Following this encounter, they experienced a 20-level increase in Diablo 4.

Despite numerous efforts to rectify the anomaly, the character’s level stubbornly remained at 100. The player’s unexpected and bafflingly rapid advancement through levels has sparked speculation about the potential cause of the glitch.

The player described their experience, saying, “I was anticipating the ‘ding’ at level 80, but upon opening my paragon board, I discovered 83 additional points to allocate.”

Their attempts to reverse the level increase by logging in and out were described in detail, and they expressed surprise at the fact that the level remained at 100 despite their efforts to rectify it. Their gameplay strategy involved rapidly leveling up and obtaining multiple upgrades, resulting in an unexpected and remarkable boost in level.

PezRadar, a community manager, swiftly responded on the official Blizzard forum to address an issue identified by Blizzard. It was discovered that players were able to gain an excessive amount of experience by using ‘The Umbracrux’ unique weapon against certain bosses. To resolve this, the weapon’s unique power will be temporarily disabled while the team works on a fix. This fix will prevent players from exploiting the Diablo 4 leveling bug.

The Season 5 questline in Diablo 4 would have likely resulted in players gaining unintended level boosts and tempering advantages, if not for a door bug that prevented its completion. Despite this setback, players can still look forward to new content such as Mother Gifts, Infernal Hordes, and a variety of unique items in the game’s future updates.
