Season 6 Release Date

The release of the Vessel of Hatred DLC on October 8, 2024 will also mark the beginning of Diablo 4’s Season 6.

As of now, there is still no information on when it will come to an end.

What do we know about Season 6?

Although the official theme and title of Season 6 have not been revealed yet, it is likely that it will heavily center around Vessel of Hatred. It is possible that the player will journey to Kurast and the storyline will revolve around the new Spiritborn class.

The upcoming Vessel of Hatred update will bring a major story update to the game. As a result, the Seasonal Journey quests will likely tie into this update, but they will also remain a separate aspect. Players will have the freedom to complete these quests before or after the main campaign update, making them a side story similar to the previous ones.

As expected, there are plans to update the Helltide event and introduce new Uniques and Legendary Aspects. These additions will primarily focus on the Spiritborn class, but other classes will also receive some attention. During the August 29, 2024 campfire chat, it was announced that all classes will receive new passive skills that will significantly alter current builds.

The addition of new mercenaries for hire in the DLC may tie into the seasonal content. It is anticipated that this will involve completing a series of minor side quests, although Blizzard has not yet disclosed the exact details of how this will function in both campaign and seasonal gameplay.

The upcoming Season 6 PTR is scheduled to take place from September 4-11, which will give us a better understanding of what to anticipate from it.
