Patch notes for Diablo 4 Update 2.1.2 have been released, highlighting crucial fixes for the Ring of Mendeln Unique item and introducing an exciting new Affix that guarantees the spawning of a Forgotten Altar. This update addresses ongoing issues that have affected gameplay since the inception of Season 7.

The Ring of Mendeln, integral to the Necromancer class, has experienced functionality problems since the start of Season 7, leading to adjustments for it and other affected Unique items like the Mantle of Mountain’s Fury. Players have also faced challenges in locating the vital Forgotten Altars needed to unlock Lost Witchcraft Powers. While the previous patch (2.1.1), released in early February, enhanced the spawn rates for these Altars, the forthcoming changes promise to improve the likelihood of encountering them within Nightmare Dungeons.
