The Diablo 4 Tournament is still full of bugs, as players recently discovered. A new exploit also allows players to easily reach a high score without effort.
The Diablo 4 Tournament was a highly anticipated activity. Scheduled to launch at the same time as Season 3, the activity was however delayed. Ultimately, it was released on March 5 alongside mid-season update 1.3.3.
Players were eager to try this activity for themselves and have a chance to be immortalized on the Leaderboard. And it seems that a bug helps players enter the ranking without too much difficulty.

However, as pointed out by player PravaDidNothingWrong on Reddit, the Tournament in Diablo 4 is affected by a bug. So, he mentioned that this famous bug allowed players to enter the Dungeon without starting it.

Diablo 4 content creator Rob2628 showed off the bug on his live stream. It shows players entering the dungeon, attracting all the monsters and bosses, heading towards the entrance, then opening the door from the inside.
This bug would cause the activity to start. Players would then have a room full of enemies to eliminate to gain an initial score advantage.
Shrines are one of the main Tournament mechanics in Diablo 4. Knowing how to use them effectively is the key to achieving a high score. And as many players have pointed out, shrines inside the Tournament can be triggered before starting the Dungeon
One player noted that Rankings were going to be distorted because of this bug. He said: “Well, now a ranking reset is mandatory in my opinion, can’t ignore such an important achievement.”Another player mentioned that Diablo 4 “desperately needs a Public Test Realm.”
Since the exploit allows players to accumulate a score boost from the start of the Tournament, there is a good chance that the developers will release a hotfix to resolve the issue in Diablo 4.
