The latest update, Hotfix 1 for Diablo 4 version 1.4.3, is now available. This update focuses on fixing bugs related to Andariel’s Visage that were discovered after the mid-season update.
On June 17, Blizzard released the mid-season patch for Diablo 4, which included two specific changes aimed at improving Andariel’s Visage. One alteration was intended to ensure that the poison nova would appear on enemies, while the other was meant to greatly enhance the nova’s damage.
It was soon discovered by players that both the animation alterations and the increase in damage did not function as intended. The 1.4.3 patch had essentially rendered the gear item it was meant to enhance ineffective.
Hotfix 1, released on June 20, addresses multiple issues, including a bug that was causing server crashes for players who used the newly reworked Holy Bolt Elixirs.

Bug Fixes
- An issue has been resolved where the Poison Nova from Andariel’s Visage was causing damage to the player’s surroundings, despite the visual effect being intended for enemies only.
- An issue where the damage from Poison Nova caused by Andariel’s Visage was lower than intended has been resolved.
- Addressed a problem where salvaging a Masterworked item that had only been Masterworked once did not result in a refund of the used masterworking materials.
- Addressed a problem where Rapid Fire would occasionally fail to shoot the correct number of projectiles when both Scoundrel’s Kiss and the Repeating Aspect were simultaneously equipped.
- An issue with Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop not providing the intended damage bonus at maximum stacks has been resolved.
- An issue with Holy Bolt Elixirs causing backend server crashes has been fixed. Following this hotfix, the elixirs are now available again.
The most recent update for Diablo 4 was released on June 20, available on all platforms.
