Just four hours before the anticipated release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion for Diablo 4, Blizzard Entertainment announced an indefinite delay.
The exciting Vessel of Hatred expansion was scheduled for a worldwide release at 4 PM PDT on October 7. Fans were eagerly preparing to explore the new Spiritborn class and experience the additional gameplay elements such as Mercenaries and the Kurast Undercity.
Regrettably, a late-breaking notification from Blizzard confirmed that the expansion’s launch would encounter “a minor delay.” Adam Fletcher, the Global Community Director for Diablo 4, took to X to provide further clarification.
“We are addressing a small backend issue that will prevent us from launching at the scheduled 4 PM PDT,” Fletcher shared. “However, we anticipate having everything ready this evening.” Although a precise new launch time has yet to be announced, Fletcher offered players a rough time frame.
“I’m optimistic it will only be a couple of hours at most, but we’ll see how it goes,” he added.
