Diablo 4 developers have surprised the community by omitting some of the most exciting changes coming with the 2.0 update from its extensive patch notes.
The team behind Diablo 4 is preparing for the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion, which marks the game’s first major content addition. This release will also coincide with a significant overhaul of the game due to the anticipated 2.0 update, enhancing the experience in the realm of Sanctuary.
Following some testing during the recent Public Test Realm (PTR), players can expect more cow level antics and powerful new builds upon the update’s release. The majority of the details are available in the extensive 2.0 update patch notes.
However, some of the details have been left out, including what could be considered the best change in Diablo 4’s history. The team at Wowhead managed to compile a list of these undisclosed changes, but one particularly caught our attention.
This change is perfect for the fashion enthusiasts in Diablo 4.
The term ‘best’ can vary among players, but I believe many will concur on this fantastic addition. With the 2.0 update, players will no longer need to return to town just to access the Wardrobe.
This is not merely a class buff that turns characters into unstoppable forces or a deduction in crafting costs for vital items. Instead, the most exhilarating update allows you to customize your character’s appearance on the go.
Currently, to access the Wardrobe for adjustments to your appearance, transmogs, portals, and trophies, players must journey to a major settlement like Kyovashad. In the PTR, it has been confirmed that you will soon be able to access the Wardrobe directly from the character menu, no matter where you are in the game.
This change comes alongside a selection of new hairstyles and color options for your armor, which were also not mentioned in the 2.0 update’s patch notes. Fashion-forward demon slayers will have much to look forward to when the DLC is released on October 8, 2024.
