The theme for Season 31 of Diablo Immortal is Torment upon Torment. While this season is expected to revisit several past events from the game, no specific gimmicks have been disclosed.
Developers have heavily teased Diablo’s looming return on social media, with expectations that it may occur during Season 31. However, they have yet to clarify precisely when or how the Lord of Terror will make his comeback.
It’s plausible that Season 31 could intertwine with the forthcoming Season 6 of Diablo 4 or the Vessel of Hatred expansion, both of which launch on the same date. As Mephisto terrorizes players in Diablo 4, the Lord of Terror may reign in Immortal.
