Did Goo Hara Leave a Will? Housekeeper’s Statement Raises Questions

During the June 22nd airing of episode 1403 of the SBS current affairs program ‘Unanswered Questions,’ the mystery surrounding the theft of Goo Hara‘s safe was explored.

On January 14, 2020, following Goo Hara’s passing, an individual broke into her home in Cheongdam-dong while her loved ones were absent. The perpetrator climbed the wall, accessed the second-story balcony, and made away with a lone safe from the dressing room, disregarding any other valuable possessions.

Goo Hara’s brother, Goo Ho-in, revealed, “Prior to the theft, I had already taken out important items from the safe. By the time the thief stole the safe, it was nearly empty.”He clarified that he had accessed the safe in search of Goo Hara’s will before the burglary took place.

Upon hearing a story from the long-time housekeeper of Goo Hara, Goo Ho-in embarked on a search for her will. According to the housekeeper, Goo Hara had mentioned having written a will “just in case.”However, despite searching the safe, Goo Ho-in was unable to find any written document. The show speculated that the thief may have been after something on her phone, possibly her final wishes.

Despite the passing of Goo Hara, a will was not uncovered, with the exception of a brief memo.
