Did Goo Hara Leave a Will? Housekeeper’s Statement Raises Questions

On the 1403rd episode of SBS current affairs program ‘Unanswered Questions’ aired on June 22nd, the mystery surrounding the theft of Goo Hara’s safe was the main focus.

On January 14, 2020, in the aftermath of Goo Hara’s passing, an individual trespassed into her home in Cheongdam-dong while her family was absent. The perpetrator climbed over the wall and gained entry through the second-floor balcony, taking only one safe from the dressing room and disregarding other valuable possessions.

According to Goo Hara’s older brother, Goo Ho-in, he had already taken out valuable items from the safe. He clarified that when the thief stole the safe, it contained very few items. Goo Ho-in also mentioned that he had previously opened the safe to search for Goo Hara’s will.

Goo Ho-in’s quest for the will was initiated by a tale shared by the long-time housekeeper of Goo Hara. According to the housekeeper, Goo Hara had mentioned having written a will “just in case.”Despite searching the safe, Goo Ho-in was unable to locate a written will. The show raised the possibility that the perpetrator may have been after something on her phone that contained her last wishes.

Despite extensive searching, no will was discovered at the time of Goo Hara’s passing, with the exception of a brief memo.
