During her guest appearance on a web show, Nayeon of TWICE disclosed whether or not she was asked out by GOT7’s Bambam.

On June 18, the most recent installment of Jonathan’s online series “The K-Star Next Door”was released on YouTube. This episode featured a special appearance from TWICE’s Nayeon, who came on as a guest to promote her second solo mini-album, “Na,”and its lead single, “ABCD.”

During the program, the topic of conversation was GOT7’s Bambam, who openly admitted to having a crush on Nayeon during their trainee days. It is widely known among K-pop enthusiasts that Bambam harbored unrequited feelings for Nayeon before their debut in their individual groups.

During the show, Jonathan inquired about whether Bambam had expressed his feelings to Nayeon in the past. Nayeon confirmed that he had, recalling that she had discussed it with him during their recent meeting. She also mentioned that his crush on her was widely known and even became a meme.

Jonathan inquired about Nayeon’s feelings when he expressed interest in her. To his surprise, the female idol disclosed that he had never actually asked her out, despite his clear infatuation with her.

She elaborated on the situation, remarking that he was simply too young at the time. The other guys would tease him and call him cute, which ultimately turned into a big joke.

She also discussed her decade-long journey as an idol and her time as a member of TWICE during the show.

Nayeon shared her thoughts on being regarded as a senior in the industry. One notable aspect of being a senior idol is the proximity of their dressing room to the stage. “It’s been a long time since we’ve been this close to the stage, but whenever we finish a performance with so many other artists, it reminds me that we are now the seniors,”she remarked.

As a senior idol, Nayeon confesses that she no longer experiences nerves before performances. “In the past, I would get anxious before live broadcasts, but now I can easily perform right after a meal.”

During a live broadcast, Nayeon’s question to the audience regarding the song “Cheer Up”caused some fans to become irritated. She clarified, stating, “I was hoping to have a conversation about the song’s accomplishments, but I suddenly felt uneasy. I started to wonder if there was a chance that the audience was not familiar with the song.”

In reply, Jonathan jokingly pointed out, “Someone left a comment saying, ‘If you’re not familiar with this, you were either incarcerated or working as a spy at that time. Who isn’t aware of ‘Cheer Up’?”

Nayeon revealed that her top pick for a summer song from TWICE’s discography is “Alcohol-Free,”although she also mentioned enjoying “Dance The Night Away.”While trying to hum the tune, Jonathan mistakenly hummed a song by Red Velvet, causing Nayeon to jokingly act offended. In response, Jonathan playfully quipped, “I swear I’m not a spy.”

Nayeon, known for her flexibility in dance, confessed that the crab dance move, featured in the choreography for “Alcohol-Free,”is disliked by the members. She further disclosed that the members have recently requested for it to be eliminated from the routine.

Despite being active for a decade, TWICE has consistently achieved new milestones in their career. They made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform in an LA stadium and to surpass $100 million in tour sales. Jonathan commended TWICE for their ability to adapt and evolve in the ever-changing landscape of the K-pop industry.
