The Fourth Great Ninja War in Naruto revolved around the Uchiha ghost, Madara Uchiha. This character not only allowed Obito to continue on with his identity after death, but also used Black Zetsu to escape his potential demise and be reborn through the Rinnegan. However, his fate was ultimately sealed when his comrades betrayed him at the last moment.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, there were numerous clashes between the Uchiha ghost and the shinobi of the world, including a notable one with Might Guy. The intensity of the battle escalated to unimaginable levels and ultimately concluded with the Uchiha ghost acknowledging Might Guy as the strongest. Despite receiving praise from the Uchiha, the protagonist did not receive the same level of recognition as Might Guy.
Is Naruto’s Praise Comparable to Might Guy’s from Madara?
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara Uchiha only praised Might Guy and no one else, including the protagonist. Each individual was only given temporary praise for one or two specific actions, and nothing more.
Despite the Uchiha Ghost declaring Might Guy as the strongest, the Hidden Leaf shinobi was able to overpower his opponent and put him in a precarious situation. In order to survive, the Uchiha Ghost had to rely on his Six Paths chakra.
Following their victory in the Fourth Great Ninja War, the Ninja Alliance celebrated their success in defeating Tobi (Obito) and separating him and the Uchiha Ghost from the Ten-Tails. Additionally, Obito had turned over a new leaf and was preparing to use the Samsara of the Heavenly Life Technique to resurrect those who had lost their lives because of his actions.
Regrettably, Black Zetsu remained attached to Obito, compelling him to perform the hand seal for Rinne Rebirth. This resulted in the rebirth of the Uchiha Ghost, who possessed the same formidable abilities as before. Swiftly, the Uchiha Ghost gathered all of the Tailed Beasts and became the Ten-Tails’ jinchuriki, attaining the chakra of the Six Paths.
Despite the lack of hope, panic consumed everyone. Amidst the chaos, Might Guy remained composed and turned his gaze towards the immensely powerful Uchiha ghost. With the fear of the world’s destruction looming, Might made the brave decision to face the formidable opponent alone, cementing his place as one of the greatest fighters in history.
Upon being informed that the Uchiha Ghost’s weaknesses were either senjutsu or taijutsu, Guy quickly opened his Seventh Gate, The Gate of Wonder. Despite his efforts, this gate proved to be no match against Madara. As his teammates attempted to join the fight, Guy reassured them that he had one final option, which could potentially result in his own death.
Without any other alternative, Guy resorted to opening his final gate, The Eighth Gate of Death. His use of Evening Elephant caused significant damage to the Uchiha Ghost, bringing back the thrill he had experienced during his battles with Hashirama. Madara Uchiha acknowledged Guy as the most powerful member of the Ninja Alliance. However, even after Guy employed Night Guy to obliterate half of the Uchiha Ghost’s body, the latter was able to make a recovery.
Despite the recognition for their improvised techniques, nobody in the Ninja Alliance, including Naruto Uzumaki, received the same level of acknowledgment from the Uchiha Ghost as the taijutsu master, Might Guy.
