On May 1, 2024, BLINKs were informed of rumors that Rosé was preparing to reveal her own label, XXOD, for her upcoming solo endeavors.
Before long, supporters and dedicated pages took to social media to share their anticipation for the release and help spread the word on their channels.
Shortly after, a surge of followers began to flock to an Instagram page under the handle @xxodofficial, with many assuming it to be the verified account of Rosé’s agency.
Rumors Debunked: XXOD is Not the Company of BLACKPINK Rosé
Despite this, fans quickly became aware of some peculiarities on the XXOD Instagram page.
Despite the presence of a link on the page directing to the website xxod.co.kr, clicking on it would result in a blank page. The individual who created the account had not established a website for the alleged “agency.”
The Instagram page also included a link to a YouTube video. However, upon clicking the link, it was revealed that the profile had initially featured a BABYMONSTER profile picture.
It was soon uncovered that the account had been created in May 2022, during the time when all the members of BLACKPINK were signed with YG Entertainment. Furthermore, the account had undergone a staggering 20 username changes.
It can be confirmed that XXOD is not the agency of Rosé. It is currently unclear if and when the idol will establish her own agency. Stay tuned for further updates!
