NCT’s Haechan and Johnny have recently been embroiled in a controversy that sparked heated debates. Claims emerged, accusing the idols of engaging in inappropriate actions, such as drinking and having intimate encounters with female fans, while they were in Japan.
The situation became more heated when Instagram stories from one of the implicated girls were exposed on X, uncovering unexpected relationships.
The situation became even more intense when Super Junior’s Heechul was implicated due to a leaked Instagram story. The story, posted by one of the girls supposedly involved with the NCT members, featured Heechul at a gathering where alcohol was being consumed. She captioned the photo with, “daebak, Heechul came LOL,”raising doubts about his involvement and whether he introduced the girls to NCT.
Heechul addressed the issue directly on June 4, 2024, through a message on Dear U Bubble. In response to a fan’s inquiry, he denied having any inappropriate interactions with the NCT members outside of their work.

“I’ve been keeping an eye on it anyway. I’m worried I’ll cause an incident on Instagram again, so I’ve just been talking to the company. I’m going to give a brief statement here in case you guys will worry or be disappointed. I’ve never met nor had a meal or drunk with any of our company juniors outside from work before. Despite Heechul’s explanation, doubts continue to persist among netizens. Several have noted that his rebuttal specifically addressed the NCT members and did not address the girls or the event itself.
