In anticipation of 50 Cent’s upcoming Netflix documentary, new revelations about Sean “Diddy” Combs are surfacing, with his legal representative disclosing his current hardships in prison.
On October 10, Combs participated in yet another court session in New York, where he is confined at a Brooklyn facility, awaiting trial for charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transport for the purpose of prostitution.
Despite the bail set at an astounding $50 million, Combs’ attorneys have faced challenges in their attempts to secure his release. After the trial date was established for May 5, 2025, his lawyer provided insight into the most challenging aspects of Diddy’s prison experience: the quality of food.
Facing anywhere from 15 years to life, the artist’s situation is serious
In a statement to the media (via People), attorney Marc Agnifilo remarked, “The food is arguably the toughest part.” The media outlet outlined a typical day for Combs at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center while he awaits trial.
Since his arrest on September 16, his morning routine begins at 6 a.m., highlighted by a breakfast consisting of cereal, fruits, and a breakfast pastry. The Federal Bureau of Prisons menu indicates that options like oatmeal and toast are available during weekdays, with coffee served only on weekends.
Lunch is scheduled for 11 a.m. and features dishes such as hamburgers, baked fish, and beef tacos, with scrambled eggs and biscuits offered on weekends. Dinner is served at 4 p.m., providing meals like chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef, along with vegetarian choices including lentils, tofu, and baked beans.
For many, this menu might seem acceptable, but Agnifilo, alongside fellow attorney Teny R. Geragos, stated in a bail application that the detention conditions are “unsuitable for pre-trial confinement,” branding them as “horrific.”
Despite their persistent efforts, prosecutors contend that Diddy poses a flight risk and could potentially intimidate witnesses, thus jeopardizing the judicial process.
Video evidence depicted Combs assaulting Cassie
In recent filings, Combs’ lawyers accused the Department of Homeland Security of disclosing footage of the rapper assaulting his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura. This widely circulated video, which emerged last month, shows Diddy attacking Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel, corroborating certain allegations she raised against him in a lawsuit filed in 2023.
Aside from this federal case, attorney Tony Buzbee announced earlier this month that he is representing 120 individuals who have come forward with allegations of misconduct against Combs.
These accusations span over two decades and involve both men and women, aged between nine and 38 at the time of the alleged incidents.

As the case unfolds, several media outlets are eager to capitalize on the situation, producing multiple documentaries focused on Diddy. The production company behind Quiet on Set is set to release a true crime docu-series in 2025, while ABC launched its special, Secret Life of Diddy, earlier this week.
However, the most eagerly awaited project may be the Netflix documentary by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who has relentlessly called out Diddy for his behavior while denouncing his infamous parties dubbed ‘freak offs.’
At present, a release date for 50 Cent’s documentary on Diddy has yet to be announced.
In the meantime, here’s a list of 10 surprising titles available on Netflix for viewers to explore.
