Disable Black Bars in Ultrawide Mode for Until Dawn Remake

The highly anticipated remake of Until Dawn now makes its debut on both PS5 and PC, courtesy of Supermassive Games. Built using Unreal Engine 5, this remake has garnered a variety of opinions from critics and players alike; however, the performance on PC is notably impressive, offering a multitude of customization options. If you’re utilizing an ultrawide monitor and wish to eliminate the black bars or letterboxing that appears during cutscenes, this guide will help you disable those features in Until Dawn Remake.

Remove Black Bars in Ultrawide Mode for Until Dawn Remake

Fortunately, there’s no need for a specific patch or configuration file alterations to eliminate the black bars within Until Dawn Remake. To remove them, simply adjust the “Camera Aspect Ratio” setting to “Free,” allowing the game to fully occupy your screen.

Start from the main menu and navigate to Settings
In the Video section, locate Camera Aspect Ratio beneath Vertical Sync
