Discover All Bot Locations, Puzzle Pieces, and Secrets in Astro Bot Crash Site Walkthrough

As you progress through the main game, more areas in the Crash Site gradually become available and you will have more bots to help you reach previously inaccessible areas. To ensure that you don’t miss anything, use our Astro Bot Crash Site walkthrough to explore all that the desert has to offer!

Astro Bot: Crash Site Walkthrough

As the Crash Site area is less linear compared to other worlds in Astro Bot, there is no single correct way to explore all of its offerings. Therefore, we have compiled a list of every possible interaction and the corresponding rewards.

As we continue to uncover more bots and puzzle pieces locked behind other bot milestones and completion requirements, this guide will be continually updated. It is a work in progress.

All Astro Bot Crash Site Locations

The initial bots that can be saved are located to the left of the Monkey Island region on the map. Two bots are standing there, panting and waving. As you get closer, they become stuck under a large rock. Use your ability to summon ten bots to lift the rock and rescue them.

The Crash Site area is home to several bot locations that become available after completing the Gorilla Nebula world.

To begin, turn to your right and engage with the hovering bot that needs 50 bots. This will raise the pedestal, revealing a shaft that needs an additional 20 bots to create a climbing rope. At the summit, you will come across the extremely scarce Celestial Painter bot.

From the tower where you obtained the initial egg, make a sharp turn to the left from the entrance. In a nearby tree, there is a bot trapped and surrounded by sharp creatures. Defeat the monsters and strike the tree trunk to release the bot, which can then be collected.

At this point, make a small left turn from the entrance and you will come across a cage containing four bots. Call upon 25 bots to assist in lifting it, and they will all promptly become part of your team!

At the corner of the cage that you unlocked earlier, there is a group of 25 individuals that can be called upon to lift the bounce pads into the air. These pads can now be utilized to reach the top of the cage, where you will find an egg holding the Fiery Artisan bot.

Descend from this tower and turn left to find a bot stuck on a wall, with a slime and two purple enemies nearby. Eliminate them and ascend to rescue the bot!

Summon 20 bots to the north of this region to construct a ramp, allowing for easy access to the next level. On the right side, there are two enemies holding a bot captive. Defeat them and rescue the bot!

The last bot of this stage can be found at the northernmost point. It will take 20 bots to create a rope that swings downwards. Once on the rope, roll down to discover another egg, which holds the Creative Cursor bot.

After completing the Tentacle System world, the Crash Site area will open up, revealing various bot locations.

Upon entering this location, make your way to the cage on the right and proceed past it to find a bot trapped on a turtle, surrounded by octopus enemies. Defeat the enemies and then jump onto the octopus to rescue it!

Upon further exploration beyond the turtle, you will come across a puzzle piece in this section. To unlock it, you must use 80 bots on a spin wheel. This will reveal a stream in the nearby pool, where you can retrieve an egg containing the Robotic Sucker bot.

Continuing from the previous bot, continue along the left path to discover another bot clinging to a wall. Simply jump on the turtle’s back to reach the necessary height and rescue it.

As you emerge from the bounce pad, you will encounter a bot trapped in a lagoon by two octopus enemies. Simply defeat them to rescue the bot!

Proceed to the center of the location and defeat the enemy wielding a mace. You will require a total of 60 robots to successfully push the cage which houses four additional bots.

Proceed through the level until you reach a fabric cover on the cage located at the far left of the area. Use 50 bots to assist in tearing it open, causing you to fall to the floor of the cage where you can obtain the Shiba Influencer bot.

At the conclusion, you will come across an enormous, sturdy cable that will need 100 robots to pull. This will reveal a jet of water that you can use to reach a platform where you will find an egg holding the Curious Kitty.

The bot locations listed below are situated in the Crash Site area, which becomes accessible after you finish the Camo Cosmos world.

If you head to the left, you will come across a pedestal that requires 200 bots to open. Once opened, a three-tiered stone tower will appear, containing an egg with Leaping Lapin inside.

Proceed to the north through this area and utilize the bounce pad at the end to reach a frozen pond. At this location, you will find a bot hanging from a tree with two snakes wrapped around it. This is a simple rescue mission!

To discover the Pup Pal bot, make your way to the ice biome at the Safari Park and scale the ice blocks until you come across an egg. It will be waiting for you there.

To reach the leafy trees in the center of the Safari Park, head towards the desert area and climb to a higher point. From there, you can glide over and discover an egg that holds Pup Pal +.

Location of All Puzzle Pieces in Astro Bot Crash Site

The initial puzzle piece can be found on the right side of the spaceship’s remains. There is a rock nearby with an animal stuck beneath it, which will require the assistance of two bots to remove. After lifting the rock, the puzzle piece will be accessible for collection.

The following one is a brief stroll towards the northwest from where you obtained the initial puzzle piece. It is situated on top of a stone pillar, therefore you must call upon ten bots to support tiles for you to ascend and seize it.

Proceed south towards the back of the spaceship, just past the Safari Park. There is a large boulder that will need ten additional bots to move, and underneath lies another puzzle piece.

Directly to the left of where you first enter the third world, there is a pillar in the distance with a puzzle piece on it. By summoning ten bots to assist you, they will create a flying rope that you can use to reach the puzzle piece.

On the left side of the Crash Site’s Monkey Island zone, there is an alcove containing a puzzle piece on top of a tall stone block. To obtain it, simply summon ten bots to create a rope for you to climb up and grab it.

The upcoming puzzle piece can be found on the northeast island that is unlocked after completing the Gorilla Nebula world. On this island, there is a robot that needs 100 characters to activate and pull a wire, granting you access to a puzzle piece that is stuck on the top of a nearby tree.

Once you have completed the Tentacle System world, you will have access to a new part of the island. In this area, there is an overturned tortoise that can be flipped over with the help of 20 bots. Upon flipping it over, you will find a puzzle piece on its back.
