McDonald’s has unveiled the arrival of their spiciest snack wrap ever, alongside two other delectable varieties, though acquiring them may prove challenging.
The Snack Wrap at McDonald’s has achieved legendary status. Back in 2016, the brand made the unpopular choice to remove these iconic Snack Wraps from their menus due to the lengthy preparation involved in making them.
This decision sparked a viral petition in the UK, where customers joined forces to request the return of the beloved Breakfast Wrap, which includes sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, and a hash brown wrapped in a soft tortilla.
McDonald’s stated that they received “over 5000 direct messages” from fans advocating for the wrap’s return, and their efforts ultimately paid off as it made its comeback to the menu in February 2024.
Now, McDonald’s is launching a new lineup of breakfast snack wraps, one of which is perfect for spice aficionados.
The new wraps feature:
- Sausage, Bacon & Egg Breakfast Wrap: Egg, sausage, bacon, cheese, mayo, and a hash brown.
- Chicken Breakfast Wrap: Chicken, lettuce, mayo, and hash brown.
- Spicy Egg & Hashbrown Wrap: Egg, lettuce, tomato, habanero sauce, cheese, and a hash brown.
Regrettably, the Snack Wraps will not be available in US locations; they will only be offered across Canada, meaning a road trip may be necessary for those eager to taste them.
It’s clear that US customers expressed their frustrations, commenting on a post regarding the news with sentiments like, “In Canada… of course. And why can’t we have the ones back that we love?!”
Others jokingly remarked, “Alright, who’s coming to Canada with me? LMAO,” while another lamented, “Gotta move to Canada I can’t take this anymore.”
Fortunately, US McDonald’s fans have reasons to be excited this fall, as the company just announced the return of their iconic Boo Buckets, timed perfectly for the spooky season.
