Black Ops 6 has reintroduced a beloved feature from the Call of Duty franchise: the classic prestige system, although it’s possible you may have overlooked it.
Since its release on October 25, Black Ops 6 has garnered an enthusiastic response from the Call of Duty fanbase. While there are some concerns regarding the multiplayer maps, the overall gameplay experience is significantly more refreshing than in previous installments.
A significant highlight for players has been the nostalgia factor, especially with the revival of the traditional prestige system. Once you reach the maximum level, you have the option to embark on the prestige journey anew, with the ultimate goal being the prestigious tenth level.
However, opting to prestige is not a decision to be taken lightly. While the leveling grind can be enjoyable for some, others might perceive it as a daunting task they wish to avoid.
Should you decide against prestiging, you’ll be greeted by the familiar sound of a chicken clucking, reminiscent of Modern Warfare 2. Indeed, the game will humorously label you a coward for choosing not to take on another grind.

Since it’s likely that many players will not decline the opportunity to prestige, this memorable moment may pass unnoticed by a large portion of the community.
While earlier titles in the CoD series featured similar sounds, the Modern Warfare 2 cluck remains iconic due to its strong association with the grind culture prevalent during its time. Achieving tenth prestige is considered a prestigious accomplishment that every player should strive for at least once in a CoD game.
