On the fourth anniversary of her debut, SECRET NUMBER member Soodam issued an apology to her fans after she was spotted on a supposed date with an unidentified man. The two were captured on broadcast, with the cameras zooming in on them during one segment of the event.

Soodam surprised her fans on May 19, 2024 by reaching out and apologizing, stating, “I regret any shock I may have caused on what should have been a joyous fourth anniversary.”
Despite this, she emphasized that she was not on a romantic outing and that the gentleman accompanying her was not her significant other. Soodam clarified, “He is a longtime friend from my high school days. Our relationship is not what fans might assume.”

The idol promised to take more precautions in the future, expressing, “I should have been more mindful of my actions and taken into account the sentiments of my fans. I sincerely apologize and will be more vigilant and dedicated to prevent a recurrence of this situation.”
Soodam was seen at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on May 19, attending a professional baseball game between the Doosan Bears and the Lotte Giants. Accompanying her was an unknown man, causing speculation that he may be the female idol’s boyfriend. The timing of the sighting, which coincided with the fourth anniversary of SECRET NUMBER’s debut, led to accusations of Soodam deceiving her fans.
