Currently in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, the strongest sorcerers have joined forces to defeat Sukuna in an intense battle, with the exception of one. In Chapter 212, Sukuna forcefully takes control of Megumi’s body, plunging his soul into despair.
From the moment Sukuna spotted Megumi’s potential during the Juvenile Center mission, he had harbored a desire to make him his vessel. He was well aware that Megumi had the potential to become a cage for him, just like Yuji. Sukuna patiently bided his time, waiting for the opportune moment to take over and crush Megumi’s soul.

Sukuna successfully performed the bath ritual to suppress Megumi’s soul, causing Megumi to be consumed with despair and unable to respond to Yuji’s call. Furthermore, in the battle between Gojo and Sukuna, Megumi’s soul endured significant harm as Sukuna deliberately redirected Gojo’s powerful attack onto Megumi’s soul.
