Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed plans for an End of Summer event that will bring in fresh ingredients, recipes, and other exciting additions.
Ever since the release of the Dapper Delights update on August 21, players have been eager to try out the new recipes it introduced. However, there has been a puzzling mystery surrounding the creation of Roasted Marshmallows and S’mores, as the Valley seems to be lacking in marshmallows.
Thankfully, the End of Summer event has provided answers to those questions by commemorating this season with fresh features, recipes, and (naturally) marshmallows.
End of Summer Event start date
The End of Summer event at Disney Dreamlight Valley will commence on September 4 and conclude on September 26.
Participants have a total of three weeks to take part in the event and gather marshmallows.
Where to find Marshmallows
The Valley will soon receive two varieties of marshmallows: pink and blue.
You can find each kind of marshmallow by harvesting them from bushes.
- Pink marshmallows – Plaza
- Blue marshmallows – Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust
After being cooked, marshmallow dishes can be utilized in newly added crafting recipes for the event.
There are two additional responsibilities that require consuming and giving marshmallow dishes; fulfilling them grants access to new cosmetic options for your Avatar.
Just like the eggs during the Easter event and the Festive Fish during the winter holidays, it is highly probable that marshmallows will also be a limited-time exclusive item. Make sure to gather enough of them to continue cooking and crafting even after the End of Summer event concludes.
New Meal & Crafting Recipes
As previously stated, the event introduces two additional recipes that incorporate marshmallows. Here is the step-by-step guide on how to prepare them:

In addition, the End of Summer event brings a unique addition: the Bonfire Pit. By crafting and setting it up, you can gather nearby Villagers for a group photo, making it an ideal way to capture your late-summer bonfire with your beloved Valley companions.
