Disney Dreamlight Valley’s upcoming update is highly anticipated, as the park is in dire need of new theme park rides. Clues from Star Path teasers indicate that these much-needed attractions may be included in the update.
When people think of Disney, they often associate it with two things – their beloved movies and their theme parks. In Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are countless charming characters from the films and numerous tributes to these beloved titles. In 2023, the game introduced some unforgettable rides, including the Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, and classic Teacups.
Now, after a little over a year, Gameloft is ready to return to the world of theme park design and bring in even more beloved rides.
To numerous individuals, the Disney rides are a crucial element of Disney Dreamlight Valley. They contribute to the region’s overall joy and allow players to showcase their creativity through impressive Disney park designs, such as the beloved Mainstreet and their own beach-themed amusement park.
Despite the Theme Park Star Path being available for over a year, there are still many players who have not been able to unlock most of the current buildings. Those who have unlocked them are eager to expand their Valleys or add their favorite rides.
Adding additional rides and revisiting previous ones would be an ideal approach to provide both new and returning players the opportunity to design their dream Disney park. In fact, DDV is currently testing the placement of previous Star Path items in the Premium Shop, ensuring that there is always a possibility for players to obtain them.
Curiously, there has been quite a bit of speculation within the fanbase, as members of the community have been theorizing on Reddit that Disney Dreamlight Valley may potentially add more rides.
It is very likely that these theories are accurate, especially since Gameloft hinted at a Popcorn Squirrel and a Pretzel Stand in their Star Path, indicating potential new theme park designs. Moreover, the same teaser also includes images of a sparkle, car, and a dog. By viewing the dog as a pet and combining it with the other images, one can easily deduce the possibility of a Magic Carpet ride, as the sparkle could symbolize magic.
Despite a lack of solid evidence, it is possible that there will be additional rides in the upcoming update based on Gameloft’s hints.
